Perched perfectly atop the pebbles of Brighton Beach, with unmatched views of the iconic West Pier ruins, The Seahorse is where style meets the sea. We are a sophisticated yet relaxed contemporary restaurant and a premier venue for weddings and events.
Following a stunning refurbishment, we are looking for hospitality stars who are ready to deliver the best service Brighton has to offer. Whether you’re pouring a craft beer or hosting a beautiful wedding breakfast, you’ll be at the heart of creating lifelong memories for our guests.
Full-time and part-time positions available.
Pay = £13.50 + share of service charge.
Plus 50% off food and drinks at all Portobello Pubs (Brighton & London).
Chef de Partie Responsibilities
As a Chef De Partie, you'll have the responsibility for running ‘YOUR’ section, on busy shifts. You will be trusted to run the kitchen on less busy shifts and will be an integral part of the brigade.
You'll be as involved in the menu design and daily specials as you wish - we want our teams to own ‘their menu’
Chef de Partie Requirements
We're not interested in foams, gels & smears! We need proper chefs that cook great ingredients perfectly every time, we want our main menu to change with the seasons, and specials that show imagination, flair, and personality.
You'll be supported and developed by our Sous & Head Chef, and in return will teach our Commis’ and KP’s, what they crave. We'll give you the knowledge to one day be a Head Chef, with regular training days and visits from our Group Executive Chef & Area Chefs
